Blue Eyeshadow

I really have no idea what I was thinking, but I normally do not experiment with bright colors. I feel like bright colors clash with pale skintones, such as mine. I recently purchased an eyeshadow quad from my Avon lady. They swatched beautifully but once I had tried to blend them into my crease, it just ended up being a total disaster. I also tried a deep lip. But I later wiped it off and replaced it with a peachy nude lipstick I have in my stash. I also tried switching my foundation to Rimmel's Stay Matte Mousse but it enlarges my pores in my nose even with Benefit's Porefessional primer. So I will be sticking to my Maybelline Dream Mousse Airbrush Finish.

What are your favorite foundations? What foundations do you dislike?
For me, I do not use Covergirl at all because their products usually smell like talc powder and I hate that smell. I think it smells really bad. I want to look good, not smell like something from my grandma's closet.

This is the result of today's disaster.

On another note, I successfully tried purple the other day. I thought it turned out quite nicely if I do say so myself. The eyeshadow is from Wet N Wild Petal Pusher Palette. The pigment on those colors is absolutely gorgeous and they are very blendable. I am in love with it!

What are some of your favorite palettes to work with?

Enjoy your day!
